Katie Jenkins-Moses was born and raised in Fresno, California. She has recently earned her MFA from the San Francisco Art Institute.

The work centers on the exploration of the unintelligibility of certain bodies within societies and how these bodies (female, queer, minority) claim their intelligibility. The work also navigates ideas of presence and absence.
